Readiness assessment
An honest appraisal of your organisation's capacity for change: leadership alignment, staff sentiment, system stability, and budget realism.
Transformation
We design and lead structural change programmes that account for the human side from day one, so adoption happens and the gains stick.
Transformation work with Rotorualink spans the full programme arc: from a readiness assessment at the outset, through programme design, stakeholder engagement planning, and change impact analysis, to implementation support and a structured post-go-live review. We don't hand over a methodology and disappear — our consultants remain embedded at key decision points throughout, acting as both a technical resource and a critical friend to the programme leadership. Engagements typically run between four and eighteen months, depending on the scope and pace of change. We work in a governance model that integrates with your existing programme management office or establishes one if it doesn't yet exist.
An honest appraisal of your organisation's capacity for change: leadership alignment, staff sentiment, system stability, and budget realism.
A phased implementation plan with clear milestones, risk flags, and decision gates — structured so leadership can adjust course as reality shifts.
Change impact assessments, targeted communications plans, and capability-building sessions that bring every affected group with you at the right pace.
A structured retrospective at 60 and 120 days post-launch to measure adoption, address resistance that surfaced late, and lock in the organisational gains.
Transformation is high-stakes and the variables are many. External market disruption, changes in board composition, or a mid-programme funding reduction can alter what's achievable — and we'll tell you plainly when that happens rather than keep billing against a plan that no longer fits. We're also not an employment law or industrial relations practice: where transformation intersects with redundancy or collective bargaining, you'll need specialist legal counsel, and we'll help you identify the right advisers. What we won't do is manage a transformation programme where executive sponsorship is absent or performative — that's the single biggest predictor of failure we've seen across thirty-plus engagements.
“We'd had two failed attempts at a finance system transformation before Rotorualink. The difference this time was the change impact work done before anyone touched the software. Staff who would normally resist were consulted early and their concerns were genuinely addressed. We went live on time and under budget in October 2023.”

A Rotorualink readiness assessment takes two weeks and tells you whether your programme is set up to succeed before you commit the budget.
