If it doesn't, we'll tell you that honestly and, where possible, point you toward a resource or practice that's a better match.

Common questions before making contact
How quickly can an engagement start?
For most engagements, we can begin within two to three weeks of signing an agreement — depending on the scope of the discovery phase and your team's availability for the initial interviews. If there's genuine urgency, we'll tell you honestly what's possible and whether a phased start makes sense.
Do you work with organisations outside Wellington?
Yes. While Wellington is our primary base, we work with organisations across New Zealand including Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, and regional centres. Remote working sessions are integrated into most engagements as standard; for intensive workshops or discovery phases, travel to your location is factored into the engagement plan.
What does an engagement typically cost?
Project engagements are scoped and priced individually based on duration, complexity, and the number of consultants involved. Advisory retainers start from $3,500 NZD per month. We provide a fixed-fee quote before any work begins — there are no ambiguous day-rate arrangements that expand without your approval.
Do you sign NDAs before initial conversations?
Yes, if you need one. For most initial scoping conversations, a mutual NDA is straightforward to arrange and we'll turn it around within 24 hours. For organisations in sensitive sectors — government, finance, healthcare — we treat that as standard practice from the first substantive discussion.
How do we know if your consultants have relevant sector experience?
Ask us directly. When you make an enquiry, tell us your sector and the nature of the challenge. We'll be transparent about where we have deep prior experience and where a current engagement is adjacent rather than directly precedented. We don't pad credentials — if your situation is genuinely outside our experience base, we'll say so.
